Six bills introduced in Lok Sabha amid opposition protest over Manipur
Six bills, including the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation (Amendment) and Reorganisation (Amendment) bills, were introduced in the Lok Sabha despite protests by opposition members over the violence in Manipur. Congress leader Manish Tewari opposed the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Bill, 2023, stating it violates the right to privacy and suffers from excessive delegation.
