Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s reluctance to address the issue of the stripping of women in Manipur has caused the opposition’s no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha. Kumar, whose party is expected to support the motion, said Modi’s recent “nervous” political statements had been prompted by the formation of the new “INDIA” coalition. The JD(U) leader also mocked Modi for organising an NDA meeting on the same day the opposition met in Bengaluru.
