Manipur Violence: Opposition shows up in black to protest against govt
Members of Parliament from the opposition alliance INDIA wore black clothing as a mark of protest against the government, stating that Prime Minister Modi failed to make a statement in both houses on the violence-racked northeastern state of Manipur. Opposition leaders demanded that the government dissolve the state’s government, urging the CM to be unceremoniously sacked.
