The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to take out ‘Vijay Sankalp Yatra’ (victory resolution march) in parts of Madhya Pradesh ahead of assembly elections. The yatras are likely to take place in September, covering Ujjain for Malwa region, Jabalpur and Sagar for Mahakoshal and Bundelkhand regions respectively, and Gwalior and Chitrakoot for Chambal and Vindhya regions. The party’s senior leaders, including PM Narendra Modi, Union ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and BJP president J P Nadda, will also participate in these yatras.
