BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari moves SC against Calcutta HC direction for registration of FIR against him
The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the appeal by Suvendu Adhikari, the Leader of Opposition in the Indian state of West Bengal, against the Calcutta High Court’s direction for registering an FIR against him. The plea has been scheduled for August 4. Adhikari mentioned the harassment and threat to his liberty he could face due to the Calcutta High Court’s recent order.
