The Chairman of Rajya Sabha adjourned the House on Friday after receiving 47 notices under Rule 267 for suspension of listed business to discuss the Manipur situation. The Chairman had given a ruling on 20th July that a short duration discussion under Rule 176 be held and the government expressed its willingness to do so.
