Modi government plans counter-offensive against opposition’s Manipur complaints amid Parliament ruckus
The BJP-led Indian government is reportedly set to launch a counter-offensive against the Congress-led opposition after disagreements arose concerning the alleged violent incidents in Manipur. The government is hoping to push the Congress’ record by citing an array of historical clashes and fake encounters under former Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh’s Congress rule, including Naga-Kuki clashes which took 750 lives.
