Working to end hatred, distrust between Meteis, Kukis, says Manipur Governer

Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey has been working towards ending the hostility and suspicion between the Metei and Kuki communities. She has sought cooperation from political parties and organisations representing the two groups to help establish peace. Last week, Uikey visited a relief camp in Churachandpur and said that the government must ensure basic amenities such as clothes and mosquito repellents for those who have been living in the camps for three months.
