Haryana CM Khattar takes up contaminated water issue with Rajasthan counterpart

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the problem of contaminated water coming towards Dharuhera from the neighbouring state of Rajasthan’s Bhiwadi area will be resolved soon in a meeting with top officials of concerned departments from both states. The National Green Tribunal has imposed a fine of INR 45 crore on Rajasthan for releasing polluted water from Bhiwadi towards Dharuhera; however, Rajasthan has approached the court and got a stay on the matter.
