SC dismisses CBI’s plea against stay on probe against Karnataka Dy CM Shivakumar in graft case
The Indian Supreme Court has refused to get involved with a high court's decision to prevent a Corruption Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar. The CBI had appealed against a February decision by the high court that temporarily stopped its probe into Shivakumar, who is facing corruption allegations, in order to pursue a Prevention of Corruption Act case.
