Assam Police arrest eight for facilitating entry of Rohingyas
The Special Task Force (STF) of the Assam police conducted an operation along the bordering district of Tripura and arrested eight persons who allegedly facilitated the entry of Rohingya Muslims into India illegally. The operation was carried out by five police teams, headed by Additional Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police-level officers.
