Tilak Award to PM Modi: Sharad Pawar could have turned his back on event to clear doubts about him, says Shiv Sena (UBT)
The Shiv Sena (UBT) has criticised NCP chief Sharad Pawar for sharing a stage with PM Modi at an event in Pune, claiming he could have used the occasion to clear doubts about himself. The Marathi daily urged Pawar, who is leading the opposition alliance, to show “leadership and courage” by boycotting Modi’s event in protest at the prime minister’s alleged role in engineering a split in the NCP.
