‘More dangerous than ordinance…’: Raghav Chadha on Delhi Services Bill

The Bill to replace an ordinance on the control of services in Delhi, set to be introduced in the Lok Sabha by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, is “more dangerous” than the ordinance itself, according to AAP MP Raghav Chadha. Speaking on Tuesday ahead of the resumption of the Monsoon Session, Chadha said the bill would create a “babucracy”, with power taken away from the Delhi government and given to the lieutenant governor, a BJP appointee.
