Old book with new cover: Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi’s swipe at INDIA bloc

Senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has criticised the newly formed opposition alliance by referring to it as a “congregation of confusion and contradiction” and claiming that its “pilot is crazy” and passengers are “cunning”. Naqvi’s comments come after 26 political parties came together to form the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) in an attempt to defeat the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance. Naqvi praised the “tried and tested” leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and predicted that democratic determination will lead to his re-election.
