Former Indian Defence Minister A K Antony has welcomed the Supreme Court verdict staying Rahul Gandhi’s conviction in a defamation case in 2019. Gandhi’s conviction was linked to his ‘Modi’ surname remark. It paves the way for the revival of his Lok Sabha membership and he is now a hero, according to Antony.
