Companies competing with Adani for ‘prized assets’ faced CBI, ED, IT raids: Congress

Congress has accused the BJP government of misusing probe agencies to benefit a select group of businesspeople. Jairam Ramesh, the general secretary of the Congress, claimed that firms competing with the Adani Group for assets in sectors including airports and ports had been subjected to intimidating raids by the CBI, ED and Income Tax Department. He claimed the raids had deterred such firms from pursuing bids for assets, enabling Adani to acquire them instead.
