Rajya Sabha chairperson considers revoking of Rajani Patil’s suspension
The opposition has negotiated for revoking the suspension of Congress MP Rajani Patil from the Rajya Sabha and the demand is believed to be under the active consideration of the chairman of the Upper House, sources said. Patil was suspended from the Rajya Sabha on February 10 for videographing the proceedings of the House a day earlier, leading to its widespread dissemination on social media platforms.
