Maharashtra: Senior NCP leader Jayant Patil denies having ‘secret’ meeting with Amit Shah in Pune
Jayant Patil, a senior NCP leader, has denied reports that he met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Pune and dismissed speculation that he would join the Ajit Pawar-led group in the Shiv Sena-BJP government in Maharashtra. Patil, a Sharad Pawar ally, said he was with the NCP chief and other party colleagues on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
