Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the BJP parliamentary meeting, saying the no-confidence motion brought by the opposition reflects mutual distrust among bloc parties, and congratulating his Rajya Sabha members for the “semi-final” win in voting on the Delhi services bill. Modi described the opposition alliance as “ghamandia,” or arrogant, and referred to his 2018 speech in which he had jocularly wished the opposition to bring a no-confidence motion against him in 2023.
