Meghalaya CM seeks PM Modi’s intervention as state awaits response regarding Inner Line Permit
Meghalaya’s Chief Minister, Conrad K. Sangma, and other state leaders have met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to appeal for support. The delegation sought Modi’s assistance in responding to a resolution passed by the Meghalaya State Assembly in December 2019, calling for Inner Line Permit (ILP) implementation in the state.
