Opposition focuses on Manipur; Treasury on government performance and viability of INDIA grouping

The debate on the no-confidence motion against the Indian government has begun in parliament, with opposition speakers focusing on the Manipur issue and the government using the opportunity to showcase its achievements. “Why did the PM not visit Manipur to date? Why did it take almost 80 days for him to finally speak on Manipur and that too just for 30 seconds? Why has the chief minister of Manipur not been sacked so far,” said Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi.
