Kerala assembly unanimously adopts resolution urging Centre to rename state as ‘Keralam’
The Kerala assembly has passed a resolution asking the central government to officially change the state’s name from Kerala to Keralam, which is already the state’s name in the Malayalam language. The resolution, presented by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, was unanimously passed without any amendments or modifications suggested by the opposition.
