Mamata slams WB Guv over appointing VCs without consulting state government
The Governor of West Bengal, CV Ananda Bose, has been criticised by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for appointing vice-chancellors to state-run universities without consulting the state government or the Governor. Banerjee suggested that Bose form his own political party or contest elections with a BJP ticket if he is not satisfied with the Chief Minister’s appointments.
