Senior Congress leader KC Venugopal has criticised the BJP, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi appearing to criticise the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A) by referencing the Quit India Movement. Venugopal pointed out that the BJP played no part in India’s fight for independence and that their political ancestors had worked against it.
