Have no plans for caste census in UP: Yogi Adityanath
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, stated that the state government has no intention of conducting a caste census. He clarified that the census is covered under the Union List of the Seventh Schedule of the Indian Constitution, and the government is administered by the Census Act of 1948 and the Census Rules of 1990.
