Rajya Sabha adjourned for the day amid Opposition uproar
Amid the uproar over the Manipur violence issue under a new rule, the Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned for the day. However, the House passed the Pharmacy (Amendment) Bill, 2023 in the middle of the ruckus. Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar made an attempt to bring unanimity, but members from both sides recited poetry and couplets instead.
