Prime Minister Narendra Modi replied to the no-confidence motion against his government, alleging that the Congress’ dynastic rule created problems in Manipur and was playing divisive politics. Modi showed confidence for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and predicted that he would defeat another no-confidence motion in 2028.
