Congress releases Advani’s letter asking CJI be made chairman of panel to select CEC
The Indian Congress has revealed a 2012 letter by BJP leader LK Advani, then chair of India’s BJP Parliamentary party, addressed to the then Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, calling for the Chairman of the Chief Justice of India to be included within the country’s Election Commission selection panel.
