Several BJP leaders lose golden tick after changing display picture to tricolour on X

BJP leaders who changed their Twitter profile images to the Indian tricolour for ‘Har Ghar Tiranga campaign’ have lost their verified status. Among those affected were Chief Ministers such as Dr Pramod Sawant of Goa, Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand, Shivraj Singh Chouhan of Madhya Pradesh and Manohar Lal Khattar of Haryana. The ‘X’ platform will review profiles of verified accounts and any changes will be restored if they meet guidelines.
