“Have received no such offer”: Supriya Sule rejects Congress claim of central cabinet berth

Supriya Sule, the NCP MP and daughter of party chief Sharad Pawar, has denied reports that a Union Cabinet berth was ever offered to her family. Sule added no one had approached her with an offer of a portfolio. Maharashtra Congress Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Vijay Wadettiwar had earlier questioned a meeting held between Sharad Pawar and his nephew Ajit Pawar, suggesting that the BJP-led alliance was seeking to increase its influence in the state.
