Tipra Motha leader suspended for seeking votes for BJP ahead of Tripura bypolls
Abu Khayer Miah, a former candidate for the Tipra Motha party in the last Tripura assembly elections, has been suspended for six months after being found seeking votes for BJP party before the bypoll. Disciplinary action was demanded after video of Miah went viral on social media by Tipra Citizens’ Forum.
