Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has been nominated to the party’s top decision-making body, the Congress Working Committee (CWC). The committee has been reconstituted by party chief Mallikarjun Kharge and includes 39 members, with Tharoor being one of them. Despite Tharoor’s unsuccessful bid for Congress chief against Kharge last year, Kharge has nominated him to the CWC along with other high-profile party leaders like Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
