Congress govt in Karnataka acted under DMK pressure to release Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu: BJP
BJP has accused Congress of releasing 10 TMC water from Cauvery river to Tamil Nadu. Union Minister Rajiv Chandrasekhar said the decision without taking other parties’ suggestions would lead to the woes of farmers affected by drought. Over 50 farmers have committed suicide, and the farming sector has been hit by power shedding, Chandrasekhar claimed.
