BJP workers left in lurch as Congress woos their MLAs with little or no resistance in Karnataka
The BJP in Karnataka is facing discontent among its leaders, with the Congress poaching local leaders and the party’s indecision over state leadership. The delay in local body elections has made it easier for the Congress to attract BJP leaders with promises of power. The Congress is also targeting JDS MLAs and planning a ‘ghar wapsi’ for defected MLAs.
