The polls will not be cakewalk for any party. Chhattisgarh has traditionally been a bipolar polity with Congress and BJP engaged in a direct fight. Queering the political pitch in Chhattisgarh are Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Bharat Rashtra Samiti. Rao is in talks with Ajit Jogi’s Janata Congress Chhattisgarh to field common candidates.
