‘Ajit Pawar holding meetings with other ministry officials is normal practice’

On August 8, Ajit Pawar chaired a review meeting of projects that were already being monitored by a special cell — the Chief Minister’s ‘War Room’. The War Room, created by previous chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, is meant to monitor and fast track crucial infrastructure and other projects in the state. Ajit Pawar had called the August 8 meeting to discuss the Pune Ring Road, Pune Nashik High Speed Rail and the extended lines for the Pune Metro.
