ED Raids 40 Locations in Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand as Part of PMLA Probe

In Jharkhand, the raids were carried out at the premises of Rohit Oroan, son of Jharkhand finance minister Rameshwar Oroan. About 34 premises in Ranchi, Dumka, Deoghar and Godda districts were raided by ED sleuths. The federal agency has been probing different scandals in Chhattisgarh in connection with an alleged coal scam, liquor scam, irregularities in the District Mineral Foundation fund and an online betting application.
