Sharad Pawar denies split in NCP; says Ajit Pawar continues to be leader of party
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar has denied any split in the party and confirmed that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar continues to be its leader. He stated that some leaders have left the party due to differing political stands, but this does not amount to a split. Pawar’s comments came after his daughter, Supriya Sule, said that Ajit Pawar is a senior leader and MLA of the party.
