Former PM HD Deve Gowda forms JD(S) core committee to draw action plan for Lok Sabha elections

Former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) President H D Deve Gowda has announced the formation of a core committee, led by Chamundeshwari MLA G T Devegowda, to develop an action plan for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka. The committee will travel to all districts in the state and submit a report to the party’s state-level committee in October, recommending changes specific to each district. Deve Gowda aims to protect JD(S) as a regional party and plans to campaign for the party in the next elections, despite his age of 91.
