EC removes 10 lakh voters in Telangana, majority from in and around Greater Hyderabad area

Around 1 million duplicate voters have been identified and removed from the electoral roll in Telangana, with over half of them originating from constituencies in and around Greater Hyderabad. The constituencies of Quthbullapur, Serilingampally, and LB Nagar had the highest concentration of eliminated duplicate votes. The removal of duplicate votes was done based on multiple criteria, including matching or slightly varying details.
