Remarks on PM’s degree: Gujarat HC tells sessions court to decide Kejriwal, Singh’s pleas against summons by metropolitan court in 10 days
The Gujarat High Court has ordered a sessions court to transfer the pleas of Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh, members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), to another judge. The pleas challenge a trial court’s order summoning them in a criminal defamation case over remarks made about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s degree.
