Suspension of Congress’ Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury from Lok Sabha revoked
Congress leader and MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury’s suspension from the Lok Sabha has been revoked. Chowdhury was suspended for comparing a fugitive businessman with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The motion to suspend Chowdhury was passed by the Lok Sabha during the monsoon session. However, the suspension has now been lifted, effective from August 30, 2023.
