Mamata Banerjee meets Uddhav Thackeray at his Mumbai residence, ties rakhi on him

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee celebrated Raksha Bandhan by tying a rakhi to Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray. She also visited Amitabh Bachchan and tied a rakhi to him, expressing her happiness and inviting him to join the Durga Puja and the International Film Festival. Banerjee used the opportunity to criticize the central government’s decision to lower the price of LPG gas cylinders. She also requested that Bachchan be awarded the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honor, for his contributions to Indian cinema.
