Mamata Banerjee meets Amitabh Bachchan in Mumbai, says he is Bharat Ratna for her
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee met Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan at his Mumbai residence. Banerjee had previously demanded that Bachchan be awarded the Bharat Ratna for his contribution to Indian cinema. She invited him to visit Kolkata and tied a rakhi on him. Banerjee also expressed her concern for the country and stated that INDIA alliance will have their own candidate for the Prime Minister position.
