The Punjab government has informed the Punjab and Haryana High Court that it is retracting its notification to dissolve all gram panchayats in the state. This decision comes after a petition was filed by Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Gurjeet Singh Talwandi, challenging the government’s initial notification issued on August 10.
