One nation, one election: BJP chief Nadda meets Kovind
BJP chief J P Nadda met with former President Ram Nath Kovind to discuss the feasibility of “one nation, one election.” The details of the meeting have not been disclosed. The committee, led by Kovind, will explore the possibility of holding simultaneous Lok Sabha and state assembly polls, as was done until 1967.
