Haryana CM, DyCM support ‘one nation, one election’; SAD also favours idea
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, along with his deputy Dushyant Chautala and Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal, have praised the idea of “one nation, one election” and the formation of a committee to explore its feasibility. Khattar believes it would result in significant savings and improved governance, while Chautala and Badal support the concept but call for further debate.
