Several opposition bloc parties are turf rivals in many states
The India bloc faces challenges in defeating the BJP-led alliance in the 2024 elections due to internal disputes and rivalries among its constituents. While the bloc expressed a resolve to contest polls together, seat sharing remains a major issue in several states. Negotiations are expected to be difficult, particularly in West Bengal and Punjab.
