Lathi-charge on Maratha protestors was ordered by govt to divert attention from INDIA meet: Congress
Nana Patole accused the government of ordering the police to lathi-charge protestors seeking Maratha reservation in Jalna to divert attention from the INDIA alliance meeting. Patole claimed that women and children were also injured in the incident. The two-day meeting of the INDIA alliance was held in Mumbai and attended by representatives from 28 opposition parties.
