Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is confident of winning the upcoming elections by focusing on people and farmer-centric schemes. In the last five years, his government has worked towards improving farmers’ income and purchasing cow dung and urine from villagers. The government has also made efforts to reduce poverty, with 40 lakh people coming out of poverty during their tenure. Job opportunities have been created through state government jobs and the establishment of new industries. The government has also addressed allegations of not providing unemployment allowance and denied any pilferage of rice given to people.
